Along with the Z06 and the Coupe, the 2004 Convertible carried a 5.7 Liter V8 engine with 16 valve and displaces 5665 cc and generated 350 bhp at 5200 rpm and 375 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. This powerplant has enable the convertible to reach a redline at 6000 rpm. This Corvette comes in a dimension that measures 179.7 inches in length, 73.6 inches in width, 47.8 in height and a curb weight of 3248 lbs. Fuel economy data includes 19 mpg on city and 28 mpg on highway driving as per EPA rating.

The '04 Corvette Convertible's engine comes paired with either a 4-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. It also comes standard with vented ABS disc brakes both on the front and rear. It also comes with standard features that includes passenger airbag cut-off switch, active handling stability control system, an AM/FM radio with seek, scan, speed sensitive volume and Bose speakers and CD player. Optional feature, on the other hand, includes 3.42-Limited slip axle ratio, head-up display and a 12-disc CD changer that is located in the trunk.
