Dubbed as the "iconic American sports car," the Chevrolet Corvette shares the sophistication of other elite cars that dominate the car world. Constant
redesigning and restyling became the key for the Corvette's current refined features.
Most Corvettes were powered by a V8 engine that started as a small block one,
later became big blocks, then became a 5.7 Liter DOHC before it sported a 6.0
Liter V8. Most of these engines were paired by either the 4-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive or the 6-speed automatic overdrive. Trim models throughout includes
coupe, convertible, hardtop, ZR-1 and the aerodynamic Z06.
Comfort and entertainment feature for most of the Corvettes includes standard
air conditioning, power door locks, power windows and cassette player. There were
also sunroof and leather seats that sometimes come available as options. On the
other hand, safety features include standard driver airbags and ABS brakes across
all trims and model years. There were also occasional additions of special features
like head-up display. These already sophisticated features for the Corvette were
still improved as time passed and it still receive more standard features especially
the recent models.
